The BYOC process
From one workload to a scale-up decision, on measured results.
- Select a workload. Choose one meaningful, recurring workload, CPU or GPU intensive work that runs repeatedly, and define what success looks like: lower cost, faster runtime, higher throughput, or less operational effort.
- Confirm requirements. Fovus works with your team to confirm AWS account and region, compute, storage, dependencies, licenses, security, and access model.
- Set up the environment. Fovus configures the agreed environment inside your AWS account. You approve the final access and control model before anything runs.
- Onboard and validate. Your workload, dependencies, and inputs are brought online, with correct execution and comparable output confirmed before any comparison is drawn. A Fovus HPC & AI expert works alongside your team through onboarding. White glove to set up. Zero-touch to run.
- Benchmark and decide. Measured results are compared against your agreed baseline. You decide whether and how to scale up, based on evidence and benchmarking data, not projections. The same data can inform your AWS commitment planning.

BYOC pricing
BYOC pricing is tailored to your environment, the workloads you choose, and your term, so there is no one-size-fits-all rate card. You keep paying AWS directly for your infrastructure. The platform fee is based only on the AWS spend of the workloads Fovus manages, measured after your own AWS discounts. It’s not a share of your savings or a cut of your total AWS bill. Does BYOC change my relationship with AWS?
No. You keep your existing AWS account, billing, and direct relationship with AWS. Fovus operates within your environment, it doesn’t replace or sit between you and AWS.
How much does BYOC cost?
BYOC pricing is tailored to your environment and workloads, so we don’t publish a standard rate. You continue to pay AWS directly for infrastructure. Contact sales for a quote. Commercial terms are in the BYOC Services Agreement.
What access does Fovus need?
Only what you approve. You define the final access and control model before any workload is onboarded, and that model is documented as part of setup. Workloads run in your own AWS account, and Fovus is SOC 2 Type II compliant.
How is this different from a consulting engagement?
BYOC isn’t a one-time assessment. Fovus operates the optimization on an ongoing basis, inside your environment, with results you can re-verify at any time.
What if we’re not ready for a full rollout?
Most engagements start with a single representative workload. The evidence from that pilot, not a sales projection, is what informs any decision to scale up.
Is BYOC available on AWS Marketplace?
Yes. Fovus BYOC is available for purchase directly on AWS Marketplace, so you can procure it through your existing AWS commitment and streamline approval.
